Abby Mason grew up in Northern Virginia, where she developed an early interest in justice, advocacy, and the connection between law and human behavior. She carried that focus into her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, earning a bachelor’s degree with a double major in History and Psychology and a minor in Philosophy.
After UVA, Abby moved to Connecticut to attend Quinnipiac University School of Law. There, she graduated summa cum laude with an academic concentration in Criminal Law and Advocacy, completed with honors. Her law school record reflects the same qualities she brings to her clients today: preparation, discipline, advocacy, and a deep commitment to justice.

Before joining Iron Chris, Abby worked at a Connecticut law firm focused on criminal defense and post-conviction relief. There, she managed a broad and demanding caseload involving state misdemeanor cases, felony charges, habeas corpus petitions, and appellate matters.
Her post-conviction work helped many clients return to their families sooner through sentence modifications, commutations, and juvenile parole advocacy. Abby also gained significant experience in serious felony matters, including cases involving federal RICO charges and state murder charges.
